Cole practices in the corporate and commercial group at Coal Harbour Law. Before joining Coal Harbour, he spent nearly two years as a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Associate at McMillan LLP — one of Canada’s leading national law firms — where he advised clients through complex disputes.

Called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2022, Cole has since built a practice centred on the corporate transactions and structural legal work that business owners require as their financial complexity grows. His work spans acquisitions, mergers, financings, and commercial contracts, and his litigation background — including appearances before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia — means he understands not just how structures are built, but how they hold up under pressure.

Stone Owl regularly refers clients to Cole for corporate restructuring, holding company and operating company arrangements, trust implementation, and related commercial matters, where he acts as their independent legal counsel – so that the legal foundations of those structures are considered carefully from the outset.
